How to Watch Disney Plus Outside US on All Devices

Disney Plus was first launched in US, Canada, and Netherlands on Nov 12. A week later, it launched its service in Australia and New Zealand.

If you live outside of these countries you will need a Virtual Private Network to watch Disney Plus outside US, otherwise you will receive an error that says:
Sorry, Disney+ is not available in your country

Once I connected to a PureVPN US server, I was instantly given access to the service. I subscribed to Disney Plus 7-days free trial and started streaming. I’ll tell you more about it in the following section.

How to Watch Disney Plus Outside US

Here is how you can access Disney+ streaming service from outside US and Canada.

  1. Subscribe to a VPN service (PureVPN is my recommended choice).
  2. Download and Install PureVPN on your device.
  3. Open the app and enter login details.
  4. Connect to a US or Canada server.
  5. I chose to stream Lady and the Tramp from the Movies section and it stream perfectly.

Best VPN to Watch Disney Plus Outside US and Abroad

For now, Disney Plus is only available in US, Canada, Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand. With a VPN, you get a US IP address if connected to a US server. That is all you need to access Disney Plus streaming service.

Here are our recommended list of VPNs that works best with Disney+.

  1. PureVPN
  2. Surfshark
  3. Ivacy

PureVPN is our recommended option when it comes to streaming, unblocking, and protecting your online security. It easily unblocked Disney Plus restrictions on one go.

It has 2,000 overall servers and it costs only $1.65/mo . The reason why I recommend this service is because of its good speed and no logs policy.

Not just that, it also unblock Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and other streaming service. It gives you 30-days refund as well. If you’re not satisfied with the service you can always get a refund.

It is available for all device same as Disney Plus. With a single PureVPN account, you can connect to 5 multiple devices.

Surfshark is definitely the fastest amongst all and that is why I have included it in the list of best VPN that unblocks Disney Plus and other streaming services.

It is considerably the new player but it has developed so much in the last year. It’s servers have grown to 1,040 and offers an unlimited device connection with a single account.

Surfshark’s price is also the reason why I have recommended this service. It only costs $1.99/mo with 30-days refund policy.

This service provider is based in British Virgin Islands where there is no data retention laws. Even if the government asks for users’ data, it would have nothing to show because it does not keep any logs.

Ivacy is a reliable VPN service with 1,000 servers that allows you to watch Disney Plus Movies and TV Shows from anywhere.

It is based in Singapore and doesn’t track users’ data. It offers a strong encryption that keeps your data encrypted while you internet traffic flows through a tunnel.

This provider not only unblocks streaming services, but it also has P2P optimized servers that is good for downloading torrents.

Ivacy offers a great price of $1.99/mo which is reasonable considering you also get a 30-days money-back guarantee.

Disney+ Price and Subscription Plan

Disney+ is by far the cheapest streaming service I have ever encountered. Let’s look at its pricing plan:

  • $6.99/mo (7-days Free Trial)
  • $12.99/mo (Hulu + Disney Plus + ESPN+)

This literally means that you get to watch Live TV Shows from Hulu, Live Sports from ESPN+, and best Movies and TV Series from Disney+. That is INCREDIBLE!

How to Watch Disney+ on your Mobile Phone (Android and iOS)

To get Disney Plus on your Android Phone from outside US or Canada, you will need to search for Disney Plus on Play Store.

If you do find this app on play store, you will see an error message that appears on it. It says, ‘this app isn’t available in your country’.

To download Disney Plus app, you will need to follow simple steps.

  • Now try again visiting this page or you can search for Disney Plus app for Android on mobile browser
  • You will find an Install icon appear
  • Install the app and enter login details
  • You will be able to stream all of its content.

To watch Disney Plus on iOS, you need to change your settings on your iPhone. To do that, you need to follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings on your iPhone
  • Click on Apple and iTunes Settings
  • Click on Apple ID
  • Tap on View Apple ID
  • Select Country/Region
